Destinations
We have local knowledge of five stunning areas in the South West and you can choose one or more of these to be included in your holiday guide. Each is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and they also contain Heritage Coastline, National Parks, a World Heritage Site, and a Royal Forest. In all of the areas there is a variety of historical and ecclesiastical buildings, gardens to view, spectacular walks, local arts and crafts and food, a mix of cultural activities and events, interesting wildlife, a range of outdoor activities and many fun days out for the family.
Click on the names on the map to see the highlights, to get a feel for the character of each area, and to help you decide on your holiday destination. We do suggest that you allow yourself time to explore one or two areas rather than rushing around the whole region.
